WENTWORTH Shire Council has agreed to increase its financial contribution to the Australian Inland Botanic Gardens by 5 per cent for the current financial year.

Councillors were told the council provides the gardens with financial support annually to assist the organisation.

Council's contribution to the gardens has been at $45,900 for the past few years.
