HORSHAM-based jockey Dean Yendall has made a successful return in the saddle following a long lay-off due to injury, riding to victory aboard Funnyifitwon in the first race on the Mildura program at Sandilong Park on Sunday.

Yendall had been sidelined since a race fall at Terang in December last year, when he suffered C2 and C3 fractures of his neck as well as ligament damage.
