A PIECE of Sunraysia tourism history is expected to be redeveloped after being sold to a Melbourne developer.

The Kar-Rama Motor Inn, at the intersection of Deakin Avenue and Eleventh Street, is now closed and awaiting refurbishment before an expected reopening about a year from now.
