Mallee public housing families deal with 50-degree heat

IN some Mallee public housing, families are forced to deal with 50-degree heat, a Swan Hill climate forum has heard.

An ideal indoor temperature is 20 to 22 degrees.

Mallee Family Care general manager Chris Forbes was one of the speakers on the risks of climate change in the Mallee on April 30, when 80 people attended the forum organised by Sustainable Living in the Mallee (SLIM).
