WOODEN power poles will be replaced across the Mildura region over coming months.

Electricity distributor Powercor has begun replacing and reinforcing poles with reinforced concrete poles to deal with the larger termite populations common in northern Victoria.

Work crews will be in action along local streets and highways and there will be changed traffic conditions and planned power outages.
