LOCAL businesses have banded together to help a neighbour in Mildura's industrial east, where fire destroyed a workshop full of electrical appliances this week.

A wiring fault started the blaze at Two Rivers Refrigeration and Appliances in the early hours of Tuesday morning and quickly destroyed dozens of fridges, washing machines and other goods which had been brought in for repair.
