STUDENTS from Nichols Point Primary got up and active on Thursday for the school's cross country.

Running varying distances from 750m to 3km, 400 students competed in the event.

Sports Coordinator Travers Zanker said house teams Reid, Deakin, Watson and Barton were all represented on the day, with Reid eventually coming out on top.
