DEPUTY Mayor Cyndi Power has resigned from Mildura Rural City Council amid allegations that she's been bullied, citing concerns for her mental health.

Ms Power revealed her shock departure from the council on social media just after 7am on Tuesday, saying that "no position is worth your mental health".
