WENTWORTH'S Junction Island is open to the public for the first time since a fire caused its closure nearly a year ago.

The picturesque and historic strip of land between the Murray and Darling rivers is one of Wentworth's biggest tourism attractions, but has been closed since the April, 2021 blaze.
