Rolled: Tax office swoops on illegal tobacco crop

POLICE are warning about illegal tobacco crops after a plantation was unearthed by the Australian Taxation Office in the NSW town of Koraleigh, near Nyah.

The 250 tonnes of illicit tobacco was destroyed as part of the ATO's Operation Greyhound, with help from the NSW Police Murray River Police District rural crime team and the proactive crime
