MILDURA residents will soon be able to fly directly to the Sunshine Coast and back.

On Tuesday new low-cost carrier Bonza announced two routes for Mildura, providing locals with a chance to fly to the Sunshine Coast twice weekly, and Melbourne three times a week.

The airline aims to fly Boeing 737 MAX aircraft on 25 new routes connecting 16 Victorian, New South Wales and Queensland destinations.
