POLICE say they are unlikely to lay any charges following reports of an armed, daylight carjacking in Mildura this week.

Mildura crime investigation unit detectives were told an alleged victim was dragged from his vehicle by a knife-wielding man about 3.30pm on Monday after an accomplice had lain on the Seventh Street roadway, near Walnut Avenue, forcing the driver to stop.
