MILDURA Council should commit to moving next year's Australian citizenship ceremony to any day other than January 26, say organisers of Mildura's Survival Day event.

The Survival Day event, which will begin at Langtree Mall on Wednesday at 11am, will involve a peaceful march to Jaycee Park.
