BRIAN Debus, a passionate school principal credited with reinvigorating education at Menindee, has died.

Mr Debus, awarded a Medal of the Order of Australia and recognised as a Local Hero in Australia Day Honours in 2020, was to be Australia Day Ambassador for Wentworth Shire this year, but recently passed away after a battle with illness.
