SOME Sunraysia people with heart disorders such as arrhythmia are forced to travel to Melbourne for treatment, but visiting cardiologist Dr Vivek Mutha is hoping to make that a thing of the past as he seeks accreditation to see his patients at Mildura Base Public Hospital.
Dr Mutha, a consultant cardiologist and electrophysiologist at Australian Cardiology, said he had been waiting more than 12 months to receive accreditation.
