MALLEE farmers will have a chance to jump into soil pits to identify and manage soil constraints following over $400,000 in funding for soil research.

As part of the Federal Government's Smart Farms Small Grants Program, Mallee Sustainable Farming will receive $435,000 to improve soil diagnosis and amelioration in the region.
