SEVERAL CFA fire trucks were called to Lindeman's Winery near Red Cliffs on Friday after a large pile of mulch caught alight.

The pile, estimated at 50 to 100 tonnes, was fully engulfed when the CFA arrived at the winery late Friday afternoon.

Trucks from the Red Cliffs, Mildura, Irymple and Nangiloc brigades all responded to the call but not all were needed at the scene.
