A MILDURA family has lost everything after watching their home of about 30 years go up in flames on Monday night.

Neighbours told Sunraysia Daily they heard "lots of explosions" as the fire broke out, with the Walnut Avenue property already engulfed in flames when fire crews arrived shortly after 7pm on Monday night.
