RED Cliffs residents have renewed calls for the road between Irymple and Red Cliffs to be upgraded urgently.

The stretch of the Calder Highway linking the satellite town to Mildura has only two lanes as far as Ginquam Avenue, which Red Cliffs local Andrew Kynaston says is "unsafe" on the mostly 100km/h stretch of road.
