A FAMILY that has provided an "exceptional contribution" to Wentworth Show Society for more than five decades will have a section of the Wentworth Showgrounds Complex Community Pavilion named in their honour.

Wentworth Shire Council received a request from the society seeking that consideration be given to naming the pavilion's meeting-mothers' rooms the Dawes Family Rooms.
