PHARMACIES in south-west NSW have been experiencing high demand for COVID-19 vaccines as case numbers increase across the state.

Wentworth Pharmacy had been "inundated" with calls to book an AstraZeneca jab, retail manager Donna Doidge said.

"Over the last four clinics, we've done over 176 vaccinations," she said. This week and next week the pharmacy had "another 100 bookings".
