CITIZENS of the region who worked particularly hard for the community throughout the COVID-19 pandemic have been recognised at a National Aborigines and Islanders Day Observance Committee (NAIDOC) Mildura awards ceremony at SuniTAFE.

Organiser Simon Fewings said the Mildura NAIDOC committee wanted to acknowledge people for their work during COVID-19, so they asked the public for nominations.
