VFF welcomes $195 million Murray Basin rail bailout

The VFF says transparency is needed on the future of the Murray Basin Rail Project, along with a hard deadline as to when it would be completed.

THE Victorian Farmers Federation (VFF) has welcomed the Federal Government's commitment to partly fund the stalled Murray Basin Rail Project and has called for the Victorian Government to the match the $5 million planning commitment to ensure the project delivers a standardised network.
