POLICE say it was pure luck that no-one was injured when illegal fireworks were set off in Irymple just after midnight on New Year’s Day. The fireworks, however, did ignite a grass fire at a vacant block near the intersection of Benetook Avenue and 21st Street which required members from Fire Rescue Victoria to extinguish. […]
