Blaze threatens homestead

A 20-hectare blaze came close to threatening the historic original Tapalin Homestead in Euston yesterday. The grassfire, which started about 11am, burnt rural grazing pasture and forest near Tapalin Mail Road. Four NSW Rural Fire Service (RFS) trucks were called to the scene and crews managed to contain the blaze by about 1pm. Crews were continuing to mop […]
