Kids celebrate culture

MILDURA Primary School students enjoyed kangaroo rissoles, johnny cakes and kangaroo stew yesterday as part of NAIDOC week celebrations.The annual celebration began on Monday with a welcome to country, a smoking ceremony and the raising of the flag.Assistant principal Ben Nicholson said throughout the week students and teachers enjoyed traditional Aboriginal food and activities.For more […]
