IN A year when parents can't hold their children's hands through the milestones of starting school, Mildura South Primary staff are finding ways to keep parents involved as they begin to welcome next year's Prep class.

The school's orientation sessions for future Prep students start next month, allowing children to visit the school for weekly hour-long sessions during Term 4.
