JADE Benham is having one of her best ever netball seasons for the Robinvale Euston Eagles.

She jokes that it's "only taken me until my early 40s" to be closing on her maiden senior netball premiership at club level.

Benham last week started leave last week from Swan Hill Council, where she was mayor, to run as the National Party candidate for the seat of Mildura at November's State Election.
