FAN favourite at Mildura's Olympic Park Speedway and three-time Speedway World Champion Tai Woffinden has been placed in a medically induced coma following a high speed crash while racing in Poland.

The 34-year-old British rider, originally from Perth, was involved in a serious accident during a race for his team Rzeszow on Sunday.
