MILDURA Superbike star Josh Waters has impressively extended his lead in the Australian Superbike championship, navigating tricky wet conditions at Phillip Island.

The iconic Victorian venue has always been a happy hunting ground for the 36-year-old, and two second-place finishes were enough for a round win and valuable points with two rounds remaining for the series.
