JAIMON Lidsey did everything in his power to will his Belle Vue Aces into the Speedway Great Britain Premiership final but his side fell just short.

The 23-year-old from Mildura led the scoring for the Aces with 11 in the second leg of their semi-final play-off which they won against Ipswich 51-39.
