RACING was fierce for Mildura Kart Club members at the John Dowson Memorial event last Saturday.

In a meeting named after one of the founding members of the club, racers put their pedals to the metal at the Walnut Avenue race track.

Kart club vice-president Jason Sparks said despite lower entry numbers, there were was no shortage in quality in respective categories.
