MILDURA'S Josh Waters was happy with his first podium finish for the 2022 Australian Superbikes season, saying his ability to catch the race leaders at the weekend gave him confidence for the rest of the season.

Waters finished third overall in Round 2 of the Australian Superbike Championship at Queensland Raceway, following a fifth and a third-place finish over two days of racing.
