MILDURA has dug deep for this year's Good Friday Appeal with volunteers hitting local streets to collect for The Royal Children's Hospital.

Irymple Fire Brigade captain Stephen Krohn, co-ordinator of the local appeal, said while the donations were still being counted for the final tally, people had been especially generous.
