FIFTY years has gone by quickly for Merbein High School's class of 1971, who revisited their old stomping ground for a reunion last week.

The cohort of 13 students was the first to complete Form 6 – now Year 12 – at Merbein High School when they graduated in 1971, amid the chaos of the Vietnam War and conscription debate.
