Christmas spirit fills the Heart of Mildura

MUSIC and festive cheer filled Langtree Mall on Friday for Mildura City Heart’s Twilight Market.

Many businesses stayed open late for those looking for a last-minute gift, while stall holders from Mildura City Markets offered shoppers something a little different.

Christmas carols, performed by Sunraysia Community Choir, Stray Notes and Recorders in Company, echoed throughout the CBD, drawing in passers-by.

Children had a chance to pay Santa and Mrs Claus a last-minute visit in their workshop and help reindeers get ready for Christmas Eve at the Reindeer Training Academy.

The event also aimed to encourage residents to shop local and support small businesses.
