Local women urged to check breasts

I RECENTLY received BreastScreen Victoria statistics indicating that in the period 2022-2024 nearly half of Victorian women aged 50 to 74 did not have a breast screen when they were due.

In Mildura, only 48.9 per cent participated, compared to the statewide participation rate of 51.9 per cent.

In Australia, 58 people are diagnosed with breast cancer every day.
