THE investment in four-year old mare Benedetta is paying a dividend for three locals, who as part of a syndicate took home $547,250 on Saturday.

Competing in Morphetville in Adelaide at the Sportsbet Goodwood, Benedetta held off a fast-finishing Stretan Angel to win by 0.2 lengths in the 1200-metre race.
