A PRIMARY health care team that services Murrayville and Underbool has been declared a Medicare Champion in the Stronger Medicare Awards in Canberra.

Nurse practitioner Di Thornton and physiotherapist Katharine Daniel from the Mallee Border Health Centre accepted the award at a Parliament House ceremony on Monday evening.
