THE site of a drug and alcohol rehabilitation centre in Mildura is expected to be announced in "the coming weeks".

It is now more than two years since the Victorian Government committed to funding the facility.

The Daniel Andrews-led Labor Government announced in May 2022 plans to build the "lifesaving" $36 million, 30-bed residential withdrawal and rehabilitation centre.
