Recalled prune juice is accidentally alcoholic

SABRANDS Australia Management Pty Ltd has been forced to recall its popular one-litre bottles of Sunraysia Prune Juice, after it was found to contain traces of alcohol.

The recall is due to unintended fermentation.

The affected product has been available for sale at Coles and Woolworths in NSW, Queensland, Victoria, South Australia and Western Australia and carries a best-before date of 04/12/25.

People who have purchased it are warned not to drink it, as it could cause illness or injury. It should be returned it to the place of purchase for a full refund.
