PRIVATE practice Mildura Babies has delivered their first baby.

Public obstetrics chief Dr Brian McCully expanded into private practice last month to meet a growing need in the community.

As part of the program mothers are seen for appointments at Mildura Health Private Hospital consulting suites and, when the time comes to have their baby, deliver at the Base Hospital birthing suits.
