STAFF across the board at Mildura Base Public Hospital (MBPH) are putting their patients in the spotlight with the rollout of a new program.

The MBPH patient safety program is "firmly centered" around ensuring communication between patients, their families and staff is "thorough and clear", with bedside handovers, communication boards and hourly check-ins among the changes being implemented.
