THERE'S a higher chance of surviving a cardiac arrest in Sunraysia after nine automated electronic defibrillators (AEDs) were made available for community use this month.

Through a $15,516 donation from the Mildura Connected Community program -- an initiative of the Bendigo Bank -- Ambulance Victoria bought five new AEDs to install at public buildings for 24-hour access.
