The number of new COVID-19 cases continues to fall in the Mildura local government area and across Victoria, although mortality figures remain high.

Seventeen deaths were reported in Victoria on Monday, despite a positive trend in new-case numbers. About 11,600 confirmed or probable new cases were reported.
