THIRTY six points was good enough to give Jack Cook the win in the Sunday A Grade Medley Stableford on June 8, with Tanupale Opo only one behind on 35 points, picking up second place.

B Grade winner was Ben Hunt with 39 points from Noah Biddle on 35 points. Balls (11) 33 points on a countback.

NTPs: Zilzie Wines 4th – Bruce Liddell, 18th Nic Cairns.

Tuesday the Ladies played their nine hole Stableford, with Tracy Lee winning on 21 points from Maree Irvin on 18 points. Nearest the pins on the 12th and 18th both went to Tracy Lee.

Wednesday’s monthly medal saw Dean Vance win with a nett 72. Dom Scullino took out A Grade with a nett 73 from George Moralitis with a nett 75.

B Grade winner was Ray Cottle with a nett 72 from Dmac McLaughlin with a nett 73. Balls (11) nett 76 on a countback.

NTPs: 4th Matt Highdale 192cm, 7th Thomas Vadlja 303cm and 18th David Lloyd 223cm.

The ladies Thursday stableford was a win for Lyn Thompson on 39 points from Maree Irvin with 36 points.

NTPs: 4th Janette Mason, 7th Maree Irvin, 12th Janette Mason and 18th Tracy Lee.

Friday’s 9 hole medley stableford was won by Will Burt 21 points from James Taylor on a countback. Balls (12) down to 17 points.

Saturday saw the ladies playing par. Adel Del Corobbo with +2 was the winner on a countback from Sandra Briggs.

NTPs: 4th Margie Lampard, 12th Maree Irvin, 18th Lyn Thompson.

The men’s A Grade winner was Nomai Pakere +4 from Craig Jervies on +3. Bruce Liddel took out B Grade with +2 from Marty Scott +1 on a countback.

C Grade winner was Brayden McGregor on +3 on a countback from Gary McNally. Balls (17) down to square on a countback.

LAST Wesdnesday the men and women played a Stableford.

Men’s Stableford: Ron Baird claimed top honours in Wednesday’s Stableford event, edging out a tight field with a commanding 39 points. Michael Morrall was runner-up with 38 points, playing a stellar round which saw him just one point shy of the win.

LAST Wednesday an aggregate Stableford was played with Ron Casey and Graham Robertson taking the win with 70 points from Jeff Giddings and John Green on 69 points with Trevor Spanos and Robert Morgan third with 68 points.

Saturday was a medley Stableford played in three grades.

A Grade: Wayne Gill won on a countback from Ross Bowen, both on 38 points.

B Grade: Frank Crouch with 37 points from runner-up Jon Villava with 36 points.

C Grade: Rod Truman 37 points from runner-up Anthony Sergi 36 points.

Wentworth

THERE was no golf last Thursday, however we had a good turn-out on Sunday for our Ambrose Comp in glorious weather.

Max Hodges was going OK when he stepped up to the 17th tee and landed his ball on the green 8 meters short of the pin. He then dropped in the putt for a 5-Point Birdie, all but sealing first place!! Well done Max, a great win on 35 points.

One behind on 34 was Paul Schmidt followed by Glen Walker one point behind again on 33. Janine Chapman took home the pink ball with 13 points and “Mrs Risky”.

NTP wine (Coke) was won by Barry Quayle with 178cm on the 12th.
