Jace Monaghan collected a win in the nine-hole medley Stableford on Saturday with 22 points in front of Anongnuch who was runner-up after a countback with Chook Baldock, both on 21 points.

ON Sunday, May 4 a Stableford event was played.
Max Hodges took the win with 33 points from runner-up Jeff Hatfield on 32 points. Garry Bourke won the ball in third place with 31 on a countback from Barry Quayle with Annette Green winning the pink ball on 26 points.

Thursday’s Stabelford event was won by Bill Slee on 38 points from runner-up Glen Walker with 32 points on a countback from Mick Cook.
The Mrs Risky pink ball went to Janine Chapman on 20 points with Barry Quayle scoring the wine for a NTP on the 8th with 608cm.
Garry Bourke took the win on Mother’s Day with 36 points from runner-up Bill Slee on 34 points. Gary Clarke from Pooncarie was third on 33 points with the pink ball going to Bob Balcombe with 22 points. Max Hodges was NTP on the 2nd with 220cm.
Beginning on Sunday, June 1 and on the first Sunday of each month thereafter a 2BBB competiton will be run. It will be a single entry and drawn teams of two players playing in groups of four. Prizes will be decided depending on numbers. Tee-off is still 9.30 and BYO lunch.
VETERANS
ON Monday, May 5, Robinvale Golf Club hosted the Sunraysia and District Vets for the Euston Club’s 4BBB Stableford event.
Cath Remer and John Denman won with 41 points on a countback from Tim Nunan and Geoff Cameron. Third went to Sue Goldsworthy and Lynne Rogers with 40 points.
Balls: Down to 39 points.
NTPs: 4th – Bev Matthews, 11th – Geoff Cameron, 14th – Percy Burns.
Dave Doering joined as a new member.
Joining the Vets is only $15 and green fees are $25, including lunch.
A vacancy has opened up for a new secretary, as Brian Young has resigned after 10 years on the job.
Riverside Golf Club will be hosting the next event on Monday, June 2, for the Mildura Gateway Tavern single Stableford event, and there is an extra event at Ouyen Golf Club on Monday, June 16, for a 4BBB Stableford.
