FINALS places remain up for grabs with one round to go in Murray Darling Golf Association Junior Pennant action.
Sunday’s fourth round of the series at Mildura Golf Resort has left very little margin between the top teams, with the juniors taking part showing some series match play skills.
Coomealla Navy had a strong result against ladder leaders Merbein with a 4-1 win in the opening contest, before a red-hot Red Cliffs had a 3.5 – 1.5 win over Riverside Green.
In the tightest of matches, Mildura and Coomealla White could not be split, with the result ending in a 2.5-all draw.
Red Cliffs have now taken top spot only by holes won ahead of Merbein.
Third to fifth place – Coomealla Navy, Coomealla White and Mildura – are all still chance of playing finals, with the final round at Coomealla Golf Club on Sunday, March 16, set to decide who competes.
In the final round, Riverside Gold play Coomealla Navy, Riverside Green tackle Mildura, while Red Cliffs come up against Coomealla White.
The finals on March 23 at Riverside Golf Club will see first play second and third play fourth.
