Red Cliffs go top of junior pennant

RED Cliffs have moved to the top of the Murray Darling Golf Association Junior Pennant ladder after the second round on their home course on Sunday.

In perfect conditions, the home side navigated Red Cliffs Golf Club superbly to win 5-0 against Riverside Gold.

In other contests, Coomealla Navy took out their head-to-head with Mildura 3.5 – 1.5, while Merbein had a strong win 4-1 over first gamers Coomealla White who had the bye the previous week.

Red Cliffs have moved to the top of the ladder one game ahead of Merbein with Coomealla Navy and Mildura half a contest behind in third and fourth.

This Sunday junior pennant heads to Merbein Golf Club for round three.
