LAST Wednesday was a stroke event for the TWW Monthly Mug played in two grades.
Ken Byrne took out A Grade with 69 net from runner-up Kym Mack on a countback with Robert Morgran, both on 70 net.
B Grade was taken out by Dennis Grigg after a three-way countback with Ross Williams and Bill Forrester, all with 71 net.
Balls: (21) 69 to 75 net on a countback.

Andy Stanbrook took out A Grade with 38 points from Steven Fumberger on a countback with Frank Cavallo, both with 35 points.
Simon Kelly also had 38 points to win B Grade from runner-up Jeff Chalmers on a countback with Robert Leng, both on 37 points.
C Grade was won by Simon McCarthy with 43 points from Lee Sutherland on 37 points from third placed Andrew Cottrell 33 points.

Chrstine Hartley won the nine-hole event on a countback with Isobel Westhead, both on 18 points.

ON Tuesday, February 4, the women played a nine-hole Stableford.
Tracy Lee, finished with 20 points and May Connolly came out the better in a countback for runner-up over Adel Dal Corobbo, both on 16 points.
NTPs: 4th – May Connolly 1cm, 7th – Selma Mayne 1600cm.
Last Wednesday the men played Stableford in two grades, with Ryan Rigby winning A Grade after a countback with Glen Walker, both on 39 points.
Neil Bryant had the score of the day, completing his winning round with 41 points in B Grade in front of runner-up Marty Scott on 40 points.
Balls: 35 points on a countback.

Nicholas Ietto took the win with 22 points on Friday in the nine-hole medley Stableford with Angelo D’Amico runnerup after a three-way countback over Josh Furey and Ivan McKenzie, all on 20 points.

Saturday saw Lirlene Crozier take the win with 36 points, which included a birdie on the par five 14th hole (and five Stableford points).
with Sandy Briggs runner-up on 35 points after a countback with Wendy Dawson.

Saturday’s men’s Stableford competition was played in three grades, with Scott Webster smashing out an excellent 42 to comfortably take the A Grade win.
Andrew Woodcock was runner-up on a countback over Daniel Slorach, both on 38 points.
Alan Connolly took the B Grade win with 40 points over runner-up Wayne Innes on 38 points.
Don Piscioneri made the most of his 37 points, winning C Grade in front of Brian Young in second place on 36 points.

Sunday’s medley Stableford saw Trevor Williams burn his way around the course to not just win A Grade, but best score of the week,with a sizzling 45 points, five in front of his nearest rival Dean Vance who had 40 points to be runner-up.
Cameron Woodward (Mildura) was all smiles after his 39 points put him on top in B Grade, three points in front of runnerup Larry Simonetta who battled out a countback against Kane Heaps, both on 36 points.

Steve Wilmann had an eagle on the par five 5th hole.

LAST Thursday a Stableford competition was played in warm conditions with Howard Hankinson with 34 points taking the win over Glen Walker on 33 points with Bill Sleethird on 31 points.
Bill also took home the bottle of wine for the NTP on the 12th with 120cm.
Michael Cook ended up with Mr Risky and the pink ball with 25 points.
Paul Schmidt scooped the pool in Sunday’s Stableford with 33 points followed by Bill Slee on 30 points with third place going to Max Hodges on 28 points.
Jefro Woodruff took home the Mr Risky pink ball.
NTP on the 12th was Paul Schmidt.
The Chicken Run has been cancelled for the rest of Daylight Savings.
